Experience a relaxing and energising Tai Chi class in the beautiful surroundings of Düsseldorf's Hofgarten. This class is ideal for beginners who want to learn the art of Tai Chi in a pleasant environment. Enjoy the gentle movements and flow of this nature-inspired practice as you improve your balance, flexibility and general well-being.
🧘♂️ What can you expect on the course?
- Introduction to the traditional Tai Chi 108 form: We start with the basics and gently introduce you to the fascinating world of Tai Chi.
- Relaxation and stress reduction: Immerse yourself in the meditative slowness of the movements and learn how Tai Chi helps you to let go of the stress of everyday life.
- Strengthening body and mind: Learn how Tai Chi strengthens your self-love and helps you to go through life gently and strongly at the same time.

🎋 Appointments
The beginners' course takes place every Wednesday from 18:00 to 19:00.
Here are the dates:
- June: 19, 26 (taster sessions for €5)
- July: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st
- August: 7, 14, 21, 28
If the weather is bad, the course can also be held online if necessary. I have planned make-up dates for any cancelled lessons for the beginning of September. I will invite the course participants separately.

Tai chi is suitable for all ages and constitutions. Basically, you should feel healthy enough to bend your knees and stand on one leg. If you are unsure, check with your doctor or alternative practitioner.
All you need is loose clothing, trainers (or barefoot) and something to drink.
The course will take place in the music pavilion in the Hofgarten. In the event of light rain, the course will still take place. There is a shelter under a tree. In very bad weather, I offer the option of completing the course online.
You can reach the training location by public transport with the underground lines U71, U72 and U73 to Schadowstraße or with the 707 to Jacobistraße. Parking is available at Malkasten or in the GOLDBECK multi-storey car park, Schadowstraße 76 and at Q-Park (Karstadt), Liesegangstraße 14.
The monthly course fee is €50. There is no contract commitment. You can start and end the course at any time.
The first two dates are taster sessions, but feel free to come and try out any time. Simply book the appropriate ticket. The cost of a trial lesson is a one-off fee of €5.

Yes, as this is a beginners' course, you can join at any time.
You can register via Eventbrite up to 10 hours before the event. In the ticket area, choose either the taster ticket or the monthly pass for the regular course (valid for one month).
