WICHTIGE INFO / RAKIM Konzert (CANCELED)

Hallo Leute,

wie der ein oder andere vielleicht schon mitbekommen hat, das RAKIM wieder mal seine gesamte Tour abgesagt hat nun auch endlich die Infos dazu von uns bzw. das offizielle Statement von seinem Management!

ABER: Wir haben das Beste gegeben, einen adäquaten Ersatz Act zu finden, was sich leider als sehr schwer erwiesen hat. Dennoch haben wir einen Hammer Act, der nun an diesem Tag und in der gleichen Location ein Konzert geben wird. Es ist zwar kein US Oldschool, aber dafür ein mega renommierter und angesagter Deutsch Rap Act.

GENETIKK wird nun stattdessen ein „exklusives“ Konzert am Sonntag, den 02. Juni 24 im Technikum geben und als Special Guest haben wir keinen geringeren als den lokal Matador ALI AS am Start!!! (Der neue VVK geht kommenden Dienstag, den 23 April los)

Wer allerdings und auch verständlicherweise einen US Oldschool Act sehen wollte und daher sein Ticket zurückgeben möchte, kann das natürlich in den nächsten 2 Wochen (bis Mo. den 6 Mai) dort machen, wo er es erworben hat. Wer uns dennoch etwas Support möchte, kann mit dem bereits gekauftem Ticket einfach zur Genetikk Show kommen!

Sollten mit der Rückgabe irgendwelche Gebühren anfallen, werden wir dann denjenigen bei unserem nächsten Party freien Eintritt gewähren!

Hey everyone,

See the cancelation statement below. Sadly this is out of our and / or the promotors control obviously.

Again apologies for this super inconvenient and messed up situation.

To our promoter partners....

With great remorse, we have come to the conclusion that Rakim's planned European tour in May and June is no longer a feasible possibility for us and have decided to cancel the trip over. There are a number of reasons for this (travel logistics, medical complications, personal obligations.... and to be quite blunt, mental and physical exhaustion after a year in which Rakim performed at over 120 events). Each of these as a stand alone may not be a sufficient explanation to pull out of the tour, but cumulatively they add up... and I am not confident that we would be able to pull off 27+ shows in the time frame allotted and keep the standard of performance at the level Rakim's fans expect and deserve. In the US, we have been doing short 2-4 show runs once a month and even these have proved difficult. We have discussed modifying the tour to either reduce the number of dates or extending the trip to space things out, but from a financial and logistical standpoint, it does not work and would ultimately shortchange some of the promoters and fans anyway.

Our experience over the past two postponements (2022 due to Covid, 2023 due to HH50) has proved that the longer we wait to make a decision to cancel/postpone dates, the complications for both poromoters and fans grow exponentionlly. It is with this in mind that we are making the announcement now. I've attached a short template that we will be posting in the coming week. I would appreciate it if we stick to the script on this one. I'm aware there will be a lot of blowback regardless of what we say, so I'm keeping things simple and to the point.
