GAME MIXER BARCAMP

New game concepts, ideas and projects are often created through the exchange with other people. For this reason, the Gamemixer Barcamp offers you the opportunity to bring ideas, topics and thoughts and discuss them together with other interested people from the games industry.

You have an idea or a topic that you want to discuss with other people or you are just interested in the exchange with other international game developers?

In both cases - register now! -> You can specify your participation in the registration process.

WHAT THE *** IS A BARCAMP?

A barcamp is an open event format. This means that the content of the conference is still open at the beginning. It will only be determined on site by the participants. Thus, an AdHoc conference with the topics of the people participating in the barcamp is created.

THE BARCAMP RULES

  1. A BarCamp is, what its participants / what you make of it!
  2. There doesn't have to be any input to your topic. One question is enough to host a session.
  3. Keep your session proposal short and to the point.
  4. A session can happen if it interests at least two people.
  5. One person can offer multiple sessions.
  6. Each session will be documented.
  7. It is okay to leave a session in the middle.

ABOUT GAME MIXER

Game Mixer is an acceleration program for young generation game developers. Consisting of multiple different modules, the program offers capacity-building, coaching as well as networking possibilities for the game developers. The program aims to support small gaming studios to create international contacts and thus reach for international growth. The exchange between the game developers from different Baltic Sea region countries enables the exchange of best practices between the countries and sub-regions.

Whereas only a limited number of game developers can participate in the game mixer program, the BarCamp is intentionally open to all interested game developers.

The Game Mixer Barcamp is a project from Goethe-Institut e.V. with support of Creative Ports, an Interreg Baltic Sea Region Project financed by the EU-Government.
