Poetry Orchard

Poetry Orchard is a digital creative arts collective formed in 2022 by Blossom, Maria Helena Mikkelsen, and Nashira de la Rosa–lovingly referred to as the Orchardists. Grown from the need for a financially and physically accessible space centering marginalised creatives, we primarily facilitate creative writing workshops as well as offering editorial services and publication assistance, themed prompts lists, and quarterly open mics.

Poetry Orchard is an intersectionally inclusive space. As an Asian, Black, disabled, and queer-led community, we are intentional with our platform and aim to uplift marginalised creatives. Topics explored in our programming include activism and social justice; disability and neurodivergence; film, TV, and video games; literature; music; and more.
