Onward Shift is a platform built to open up real conversations around mental health in construction.

Founded by Vishal Narbheram, who has over 15 years of experience working in the industry as an electrician, Onward Shift was created from lived experience, not just theory. After going through his own struggles with mental health, Vish realised just how little space there is in construction to talk openly about what’s really going on.

Onward Shift now creates spaces where those conversations can happen.

From Walk & Talk sessions to Live Keynote-style Talks, every event is designed to bring people together in a relaxed, honest and non-judgemental environment. Whether it’s walking side by side or sitting in a room listening to real stories, the goal is simple, to make it easier for people to talk!

These events are open to anyone. While they are built around the realities of construction life, they welcome anyone who wants to listen, understand and be part of the solution.

Because nothing changes if no one talks.
