Natty by Nature focuses on gardening, farming, and foraging education with regular classes on all aspects of plant identification, edibility, fertilizing, grafting, pruning, organic pest control, and crafting medicinal plant preparations.

Our lead educator, Dr. Nat Bletter has 30 years of experience in botanical explorations around the world from New York City’s urban jungles, to the rain forests of Hawai’i, the Peruvian Amazon, Guatemala, Mali, Thailand, and Lao. He has planted, cultivated, eaten, and grafted thousands of fruit trees in his decades of gardening in Hawai’i and taught thousands of people how to do the same to help everyone get growing.
