Layane – Certified Belly Dance Teacher & Performer

Layane is a certified Belly Dance teacher and performer based in Edmonton, originally from Brazil. Her journey with Belly Dance began 12 years ago, and it was love at first shimmy! Since that first class, she has dedicated herself to continuous learning, training with world-renowned instructors such as Ashley Rhianne, Anastasia Biserova, Julia Farid, Shahrzad from Cairo, Sadie Marquardt, Alline Klauk, and Alla Kushnir.

Passionate about the art of Belly Dance, Layane’s mission is to inspire and empower individuals by fostering confidence, creativity, and cultural diversity. She is committed to cultivating a welcoming and inclusive community where dancers of all levels can thrive.
