Garinè Isassi's background is in strategic communications with specialties in events planning, business writing/editing, and project management. She is the author of the award-winning novel, START WITH THE BACKBEAT, and the Gaithersburg Book Festival's Chair of Workshops.

She is bringing experienced, professional workshop leaders to the Gaithersburg/North Potomac area to provide in-person, creative writing workshops to foster the talents of the local writing community.
