The Carlow University Underserved and Rural Engagement (CURE) Program is a new grant-funded initiative supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The highly-competitive Program seeks to provide Counseling Psychology Doctoral (PsyD) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students with hands-on interdisciplinary experience working with vulnerable populations in underserved areas. Students who are accepted into the Program demonstrate a commitment to continuing to serve these populations post-graduation in order to help fill a gap in service in their communities.
The CURE Program will be hosting FREE Bi-Monthly Speaker Series events that highlight new and emerging topics in interdisciplinary healthcare that serve as professional development opportunities for students and professionals hoping to learn more about the topics presented. All are welcome to RSVP to each event offering!
