National Black Doulas Association

National Black Doulas Association

The National Black Doulas Association (NBDA) is a community dedicated to supporting and uplifting Black families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. We envision a world where Black mothers have access to culturally competent care, experience joyful births, and feel empowered throughout their motherhood journey.

What We Do:

  • Host educational events and workshops: We offer informative sessions on topics like doula care, breastfeeding, healthy pregnancies, and postpartum wellness – all with a focus on the unique needs and experiences of Black families.
  • Connect Black families with qualified doulas: Our directory features a network of skilled and certified Black doulas across the country.
  • Advocate for racial justice in birth: We raise awareness about racial disparities in maternal health outcomes and fight for equitable access to quality care for Black mothers.

Join our Eventbrite to:

  • Stay informed about upcoming webinars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Learn valuable tips and resources to navigate pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
  • Connect with a supportive community of Black families and birth professionals.

Together, we can create a brighter future for Black mothers and Black families!
