What language is Wine & Weave in?

Instruction takes place in English, but feel free to spend the evening chatting in whichever language you prefer!

I have never woven before, can I still take part?

Unfortunately not, as this evening is for those that already have experience weaving on an 8-shaft hand loom. If you have never woven before, then Emma's Weave 101 workshop will give you all the introductory skills you need.

Question 3

Do I need to be there for the whole four hours?

Because this is not a teaching workshop, you are free to arrive and leave whenever suits you best, between the hours of 18:00 - 22:00. If you are arriving after 18:00, please let Emma know at emma@wovenbywood.com.

How do I get to the location?

Accepted Answer

The nearest subway station is Reinickendorfer Straße (U6). The nearest S-Bahn stations are Wedding (S42 & S46) and Humboldthain (S1 & S2). Nearby buses are the M27, 120 and 247.

What should I bring with me?

Accepted Answer

All weaving materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials with you. This can be anything from thin embroidery yarn to chunky knit yarns, or even unconventional materials like metal wires. These evenings are all about play and experimentation!

What is the minimum age to take part?

The minimum age to participate is 18.

I booked a ticket but can't make, can I transfer my ticket or get a refund?

Accepted Answer

If you're not able to make it to Wine & Weave and want to transfer your ticket to another date or discuss a refund, please contact hello@wovenbywood.com so we can try to find the best solution. Please note that refunds and transfers are not possible less than 24 hours before the event.
