About this event

  • 3 hours

You are invited to the online launch event for the research group Delimiting Systemic Risks in the DSA: Putting the DSA Into Practice (a joint project of the Sciences Po Law School and Médialab, funded by the Project Liberty Institute).

The project explores the practicalities, potential and drawbacks of using due diligence, risk assessment and risk management as a regulatory framework to address complex policy problems related to social media governance - from disinformation to online violence, political polarisation and threats to the media. In this invite-only online event, two panels of leading experts will offer perspectives from their own research and professional experience on how the DSA systemic risk framework might look in practice, as well as its potential benefits and weaknesses.

The webinar is invite-only and all discussions will remain confidential (Chatham House rules: participants can draw on the discussions in their future work, but without quoting directly or attributing statements by name). By signing up to attend, you commit to respecting this. We also request that you do not share this event link further.

Our aim is to facilitate an open and free-flowing discussion among the panellists and attendees, and we would be delighted if you could join us!
