  • 2 hours

Welcome to the Ugly Art Drawing & Watercolour Painting Workshop! Join us on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at 11am at de Hoog - Keramik for a fun and creative event!

Get ready to unleash your inner artist in this class as we dive into drawing and watercolour painting techniques. No experience necessary - just come with an open mind and a willingness to get creative!

Our workshop will be led by Ness, an artist who will guide you through the process and help you create your own masterpiece. It's a great way to spend some time on your day off - surrounded by creativity and like-minded individuals. We will be hosted in a bright and lovely ceramic studio, where you can get inspired from the pots and pieces around us!

A unique opportunity to explore your artistic side, and play around with materials whilst making some **Ugly** art!

**Cool art may also be made!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any experience?

No experience necessary! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, as well as people who have painted lots before! I will help you every step of the way regardless of your experience level.

I'm reaaaaallllllyyyyyyy bad at art.... will I enjoy it?

My aim is to make you feel super comfortable creating your artwork! We will make ugly drawings, cool paintings, and everything in between. No judgment here!

What language is the workshop held in?

The workshop will be held in English :) (I can speak okay-ish German too if absolutely needed!)

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself! I will provide all arty materials for you to use.

Do I get to take my artwork home?

Yes! You can take home everything you make, and the beauty of watercolour is that it dries quickly :)

I want to come but I can't find anyone to come with...

This event is perfect for you to come on your own and to have a nice morning meeting new people! That said, if you want to bring your partner, or mate, feel free :) There are a maximum of 16 places so it should be a nice cosy and inclusive vibe.

Where is the event being held?

We will be hosted at a lovely bright ceramic studio, the nearest U/S Bahn is Yorkstraße Bahnhof (5 mins walk) in the HinterHof of Kulmer Strasse 20A :)

Will we be painting ceramics?

No, we will be using paper and watercolour paints. But we can get inspired from the ceramic studio ;)
