about your teacher:
hi, i'm kimi
i’ve been teaching breathwork in one form or another for over a decade, and in that time i’ve led sessions in almost every kind of space you can imagine: mental health hospitals, churches, yoga studios, music venues, parks, corporate offices, community centers, and living rooms. breathwork belongs everywhere, and that wide range of settings has shaped how i teach and how i hold space.
i bring over 1,000 hours of facilitation experience to this training, along with a deep foundation in nervous system education and a lifelong relationship with music. for the past fifteen years, i’ve been exploring how sound, frequency, and intentional playlists can support regulation, emotional release, and integration. this background informs everything i teach.
my style is direct, compassionate, and science-informed. i care about clarity, honesty, and helping you find your own voice as a facilitator. this training isn’t about memorizing a script or performing a certain aesthetic, but rather about building real skill, real confidence, and real presence so you can support others in a way that feels grounded, trauma-aware, and true to you.
