„Fundamentally reshaping the economy is unrealistic.” That’s what people say, but not students at the university of Hamburg, right?
Prof. Dr. Jana-Michaela Timm, Prof. Dr. Rouven Seifert and Prof. Dr. Michel Clement from the Universität Hamburg and their colleagues from Startup Port invite you to a pilot project that will show above all: a different economy is possible. Who else could support such a project if not the Impact Hub Hamburg, the Social Entrepreneurship City Hamburg and, last but not least, the football club FC St. Pauli whose reform agenda says “Another football is possible”?
Pioneer entrepreneurship and the FC St. Pauli
Students from the study fields of sustainability innovation, industrial engineering, non-profit studies, and business administration of the University of Hamburg present their creative entrepreneurial ideas for positive societal impact to a prominent jury.
The student pitches are supported by the city’s impact scene. Esin Rager, vice president of FC St. Pauli and founder of the well-known organic tea brand Samova, will talk about how to turn „unrealistic“ into reality on Jupiter’s stage. Moreover, Dr. Birte Prinzhorn, Co-CEO of the Impact Hub Hamburg will share insights of the Social Entrepreneurship scene in Hamburg and advices for founding a company.
Program: After the student pitches and talks on stage, the team led by Prof. Dr. Jana-Michaela Timm, the Transfer Agentur of the Universität Hamburg, and Startup Port invite all participants and guests to a meet & greet with drinks and fingerfood.
