This workshop offers methods and discussions about developping more self-empathy, in order to better show up for ourselves and others.

This Self-empathy workshop will take place at Sali Gari Bar, 10245 Berlin, on the Tuesday 16th of September from 18:00 to 20:30. It is facilitated by Emilian Walter as part of the Conflict Alchemy Project.Self-empathy is kindly understanding ourselves, why we feel how we feel, and act how we act. It is a gift to ourselves and others. It helps us reclaim our agency, be accountable, better show up in situations of conflict, and break old patterns.In this workshop, we'll explore why self-empathy is important and how it differs from other ways to treat ourselves (blaming, judging, self-pity, self-righteousness, avoidance, enabling and more). Then we'll practice different methods to kindly understand ourselves, our feelings and needs. Finally, we'll see how it can help us be kinder and more accountable to ourselves and others, and decide what we want and don't want.Sliding scale: 15-25 euros.
