Join me for a relaxed, small-group appliqué workshop where we’ll transform everyday garments into something playful, personal and full of character.

Appliqué is a textile technique where fabric shapes are cut out, layered onto a base fabric and stitched in place. It’s simple to learn, incredibly versatile, and a brilliant way to customise and repair clothing.

This workshop is also rooted in sustainability. Instead of discarding worn or stained items, you’ll learn how to:

*Cover stains or small tears beautifully

*Extend the life of well-loved clothes

*Upcycle old garments in a creative way

*Add personality to children’s clothing

*Breathe fresh life into pieces you no longer wear

You’ll learn how to:

*Cut and layer simple shapes

*Secure your Appliqué

*Learn basics of Needle- turn Appliqué and other simple techniques to secure your patch

*Use basic hand embroidery stitches to outline and decorate

*Create a finished design ready to wear

*All materials are included (fabric pieces, threads, needles and guidance).

Please bring a shirt, jumper, jacket or tote bag you’d like to transform.
