Let’s embrace! With a rope harness!
This workshop assumes basics of shibari bondage (e.g. single column tie), but feel welcome to join independent of experience. We will decide – together - which body harness to make, taking into account the knowledge, needs, possible body limitations and personal preferences of everbody in the room.
Safety, technique, tricks, mindsets, improvisation tools and aesthetics will be part of the workshop outline.
People of all genders are welcome, please keep in mind that the needs of Queer folx and other marginalized groups will be centered. If you have special needs or wishes please let us know before hand.
Elis Antidote (n.p.), based in Berlin, tinkers artworks centered in inclusive, solidary, queer, consensual, dissident lifeforms. An teaches shibari since 2010, and develops varied rope-art related works, including rigging for films, theatre and photo.
