Cashmere Radio is a not-for-profit community experimental radio station which was originally based in Lichtenberg, Berlin for the first six years of its existence before recently moving to our new studio headquarters in Wedding. The ambition of the station is to preserve and further radio and broadcasting practices by playing with the plasticity and malleability of the medium.

Bino Byansi Byakuleka formerly known as Petros Byansi from Nakabaale, Luuka- Ugandan-born creative artist, activist, innovator, inventor, and father who is based in Berlin, Germany. Bino founded One Love Foundation Berlin for collaborative arts and media practice, alongside being a beat producer and musician trained at DBs in Berlin. He also started Wearebornfree! Empowerment Radio and established One Love Foundation as a collaborative art and media studio, including FM and online radio.
He's now working on the Wearebornfree Foundation in Kakiri, Uganda, and building an art and media school there.

THF Radio is a radio station located in the former gatehouse at Tempelhof Airport. An experimental space and mouthpiece for citizens, artists, musicians, creative people and initiatives. THF Radio is intended as an experimental forum: we want to address the airport and its history and give artists in the city a platform.

GATHER is a participatory project with a shared interest in art and music from intersectional perspectives and collective, low-hierarchical learning.

Until the end of 2022, we were known as FEM_MUSIC_, arising from joint classes between teachers and students at the University of the Arts Berlin in the winter of 2017/2018. These classes explored feminist themes across the field of contemporary music production from various angles. gather explicitly welcomes individuals from the contemporary music scene outside of the university or college setting.

We believe it is both possible and necessary to practice alternative forms of knowledge production and exchange within academic environments that include feminist, queer, and LGBTQI perspectives.

Fango Radio is an independent Italian web radio that started broadcasting on 1 April 2019: a heterogeneous group of people who believe that radio broadcasting is an opportunity for aggregation and prolific disorientation. The formats are diverse, ranging from literary readings, through playlists, to popularisation programs on the DIY world and more. Since its foundation, it has also focused on producing multidisciplinary content offered in different formats through the Fango Radio Editions series.

MATTO ZOPPI is an Italian performer and sound artist. His artistic expression involves sound, words, and extended voice techniques to evoke grotesque and liminal narrative actions. He worked in many contexts between theater, radio, performance art, digital media, and educational projects. His debut album "Dedalo" was published in 2023 for Fango Radio Editions.

PATRICK DOAN, known as 'defasten' online, is a Canadian digital artist based in Berlin. With a background in design, film, and architecture, he specializes in real-time 3D graphics, creating dynamic visuals that are audio reactive, generative, and feature deconstructed geometric objects, all contributing to a simulated digital reality.

His collaborations in the music and digital arts industries include projects with artists such as Violent Magic Orchestra, SØS Gunver Ryberg, Fausto Mercier, and Blush Response. Patrick has also worked with renowned studios like Silent Partners Studio, Virtual Innovation Partners, and Moment Factory on high-profile projects.

He has exhibited his work in over 25 countries, including at events such as ISE 2024 (Barcelona), Beyond Basel 2023 (Art Basel Miami), Neo Shibuya 2023 (Tokyo), and SIGGRAPH. Patrick has also been involved in talks and workshops at various venues, including the Tate Modern, and his work is featured in the book "The Age of Data" alongside other notable artists in the field.

Hans Raabe is an artist, DJ, record collector, and producer (as Africaine 808 / A08), who has been shaking up the (underground) cultural scene in Berlin for 25 years. He is considered a pioneer of the tropical music scene in Berlin and was one of the most active graffiti/street artists in Berlin in the early 2000s. As a radio maker, he has been active in various formats, from the cult pirate station Twen FM to various internet community radios (THF), and now Radio Cosmo (WDR). He continues to live and work as a painter, DJ, and event curator in Berlin and around the world.

Databoy78 is an electronic music project by Sebastian Zangar from Berlin. He was born in Bukarest Romania where he lived until he was 8 then he moved with his family to Freiburg Germany where he spent his youth. Hailing from Berlin DJ SchluchT works at DIY Church as one of their unpaid interns since more than 10 years. He made himself a name with abstract social behaviour online and in real live as well as naive ghost coding and tape looping. Basically it always sounds the same or like one of his critics once said: “classic intuitive wrongfootedness”. When he is not djing or radioing or helping out at westgermany, shlucht likes to sit in his virtual bay & watch his yachts, little known but he runs a virtual yacht club where he shares his enthusiasm for underwater landscape painting and networked waves and content management systems. lately he seems wasting time with obsolete copy machines and printing out the internet on them.
