About this event
CRC 1333 MINISYMPOSIUM „CATALYSIS UNDER CONFINEMENT“
The Collaborative Research Center 1333 – “Molecular heterogeneous catalysis in confined geometries” started in July 2018. We aim to identify and understand confinement effects in organometallic catalysts selectively immobilized within the pores of mesoporous supports.
For the Minisymposium on “Catalysis under Confinements” on May 16, 2024, we put together a panel of three renowned keynote speakers in the research areas of catalysis, material sciences and spectroscopy.
We are happy to welcome
• Prof. Unni Olsbye from the University of Oslo
• Prof. Thomas R. Ward from the University of Basel and
• Prof. Matthew P. Conley from the University of California.
In addition, selected researchers from the CRC 1333 will present their latest research findings. As this symposium is devoted to fostering exchange among scientists working in catalysis around the globe, we particularly encourage national and international doctoral researchers to present their work in our poster session.
On May 17, 2024, we will offer a special after-conference school for post docs and doctoral researchers on the topics of special measurement and analysis equipment as well as data management.
