Mapping Journeys - Drawing Maps (2/6)

Mapping Journeys - Drawing Maps (2/6)

Nansenstraße 12Berlin, BE
Wednesday, Apr 29 from 6 pm to 9 pm CEST
Overview

Create a personal map that traces your journey, moments of pause, and places where you feel a sense of home.

This session invites you to draw an abstract map, not of places, but of experiences.
Using lines, dots, and shapes, you’ll reflect on movement, change, and belonging in your own life.
A shared example of a sacred journey is introduced as inspiration, but your map remains fully personal.
The focus is on connection through shared making, allowing different life paths to exist side by side in the same room.
No art experience is needed.

This Art Series ocuses on creating spaces of belonging and connection through shared art-making, bringing together people from different religious and cultural backgrounds. Using simple creative exercises inspired by the Abrahamic traditions, the workshops invite participants to reflect, create, and connect beyond labels, through making, listening, and being together.

Other workshops in the series can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/3da73zyb

This workshop was only possible with the support of the Interkulturelles Zentrum and the Senate.
