About the Background:

The implementation of agile frameworks such as Scrum represents nothing less than a revolution in most organizations in terms of corporate culture and the dominant values and paradigms. Long-practiced and previously deemed correct behaviors and beliefs are suddenly radically questioned, and established structures and relationships are disrupted.

A key role in the successful transition is played by the leaders and management of an organization. Previously given little attention and appreciation in the agile movement, there is now a growing understanding that leaders and managers continue to have very important tasks. However, for them to positively and motivationally shape the development of an agile organization, they need a clear and attractive picture of their future role and a new understanding of effective leadership principles. Even if agility doesn't play a role in an organization (yet), it is clear everywhere that we need a new understanding of leadership.

Management 3.0 provides the coherent concept for this new systemic leadership style and dispels misconceptions and misinterpretations of traditional management. Management 3.0 is not only the necessary foundation for agile organizations. This concept also serves as an answer to the general management crisis in the increasingly complex working world of the 21st century.
