Can people attend who are not enrolled college students?

We are very pleased to know you're interested in our event. Due to space and funding restrictions, being enrolled at a German university at the time of the event is a mandatory prerequisite for attending the International Students in Germany Summit (ISGS) this year.

Question 2

Will people receive a refund if they fall ill?

Accepted Answer

Such situations will be assessed case wise, and only in case of legitimate reasons, refund shall be provided

Question 3

How will I get reimbursed for my travel expenses?

Accepted Answer

Roundtrip travel expenses will be refunded up to 70 € - given that the receipt is provided to DEGIS. Without it, reimbursement cannot be provided. If your travel expenses exceed 70€, you will receive exactly 70€ from DEGIS. The difference will have to be covered by the participants themselves.

How long will the reimbursements take?

Accepted Answer

Once we received your receipt(s) at isg2023@degis.info, the submitted information will be checked and a reimbursement will be issued within approximately two weeks after the event (June 30th, 2023).

Question 5

Will Berlin students receive any travel benefits?

Accepted Answer

No, Students enrolled in a Berlin University and attending the event, must pay the registration fee and will be getting the meals and access to the event, but are not eligible for Travel or Accommodation benefits.

How many days is the accommodation for?

Accepted Answer

Hostels will be available for all attendees, for 2 nights, 16-17th June 2023
17-18th June 2023
Check in and check out times, will be regular
