Digital Input Session: Autonomous Mobility | YMN+
Explore how KIRA is bringing autonomous mobility into public transport with Thorsten Möginger, Head of New Mobility at rms GmbH
Autonomous mobility is moving beyond pilot projects and into real-world public transport. This Digital Input Session will explore what that transition means for operators, cities, passengers, and local mobility planning.
On 29 September 2026 at 18:00 CEST, we will be joined by Thorsten Möginger, Head of New Mobility at rms GmbH. Drawing on the KIRA project, an autonomous on-demand transport pilot operating with passengers in Darmstadt and connecting the city with Langen and Egelsbach, the session will examine the practical steps needed to integrate autonomous vehicles into everyday public transport.
Join us to hear first-hand insights, ask questions, and contribute your perspective. Further details will be shared in our LinkedIn group, where you can tell us which aspects of autonomous mobility interest you most.
Digital Input Sessions (DIS) by the Young Mobility Network are online events where mobility experts share ideas, showcase projects, and spark discussions. Together, we explore the latest updates, from the community to the global mobility world, and invite our members to share their insights.
