DappCon - Developer Conference for Ethereum Dapps & Infrastructure

DappCon is organized byGnosis, one of Ethereum’s early dApps. Gnosis launched in August 2015, one week after Frontier went live, as the first major dapp on Ethereum. Today, Gnosis is building three major Ethereum-based dapps and works towards the development and continuous growth of Ethereum—both its infrastructure and ecosystem.

About DappCon
DappCon is a nonprofit global developer conference focusing on decentralized applications, tooling, and foundational infrastructure on Ethereum. Organized by developers for developers, the conference aims to open critical discussions on the next generation of dapps and provide a learning opportunity for developers who strive to build Ethereum’s core infrastructure and applications. Organized by <A HREF="https://gnosis.pm/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gnosis</A>, it will take place in Berlin, the heart of dApps development in Europe.
DappCon has three tracks with panel discussions and talks centering around discussions on different approaches of dapps in fields such as governance, decentralised exchanges, and wallets, as well as workshops addressing researchers and developers focused on scaling solutions and developer tools. In a series of panel discussions and presentations, the conference will facilitate discussions around different governance mechanisms, usability and security of self-sovereign authentication models, next steps in the development of decentralized exchanges, as well as recent developments and the way forward for different scaling solutions. For developers and researchers, a series of workshops on developer tools will present updates and provide learning opportunities on dapp development and scaling solutions on Ethereum. 
 We welcome and invite friends from Ethereum communities worldwide to participate in this event. We will strictly review all applications of speakers as well as audience members to ensure that we are creating a top-quality event, while being as inclusive and fair as possible. If any profits are generated from the event, these will be used entirely for open blockchain education programmes at Full Node.

The Location
DappCon is taking place in Berlin, Europe’s heart of blockchain development and home to many early Ethereum dapps. The venue Postbahnhof is a former train station providing  space for 800 people with two stages and one workshop room, and a large outside terrace and garden to enjoy the sun while networking. It’s easily accessible, located right next to the Ostbahnhof.
