Boost your creativity with AI Video tools!We will create some videos in this hands-on workshop. Why do you care: You want to be part of the discussion, know the tools, and supercharge your creativity. Takeaway: You’ll be equipped with a better understanding of the creative industries, ways of working, valuable and tested AI tools, practical experimentation, hands-on experience, and plenty of creative inspiration. You will receive a list of further resources, great tools, tips, and the recording of the workshop. About the Workshop Facilitator:Ulrike Kerber is a designer and creative director at Viva Design, an award-winning design studio and a think tank for creativity and innovation. She is known for her creativity, motion design, and videos. Ulrike has led many creative workshops and classes for companies and international universities, including Hyper Island, Berlin International University, HMKW, and design college SCAD. She researches creative AI tools and filters the most effective and productive for design industries. With AI tools, you can pre-visualize your film, animate, designnew sneakers, envision your summerhouse or design your room. You can develop patterns, create graphic and fashion design and make animations.Note, even if you do not consider yourself "creative", you are creative. With these tools, you can create as long as you can imagine!

This video was all done with AI tools. First, I created the image with Midjourney, and then we recorded the voice-over. I prefer a human voice rather than an AI-generated voice, however creating an AI voice is easy, and you can even imitate Brad Pitt or the celebrity of your choice! With the image and the voice track I animated it with another AI tool. This workflow is easy and will be discussed in the next workshop.

For this Barbie spoof video, I created AI voices from the original actors voices, and then I uploaded the script and animated it in Studio D-ID. The voices are still tricky to produce, apart from the ethical concerns. I am not comfortable using other people's voices. Deep fakes can be misleading, and contribute to confusion and mistrust. Be careful with new tools and new AI powered abilities!
