Labor Neunzehnis a small two-room atelier located on the 4th floor of a former factory in Berlin-Treptow with a focus on musical composition, philosophy and expanded cinema. Besides the regular use for work purposes, the atelier is employed on an irregular basis as an independent curatorial platform and a non-profit space for the production and presentation of artistic projects, exhibitions, screenings, workshops or collaborative research works.Labor Neunzehn is devoted to three main curatorial programs.The “Exhibition Series” aims to explore the use of sound and visual materials as a media for critique and reflection about politics, society and culture today.The film screening program “Kamera” presents avant-garde films and experimental documentaries in a continuous thematic row within particular time-frames.“Cluster” aims to discuss the practices of notation and recording at the intersection point between composition, performance and the listening experience through a number of laboratories and open rehearsals that address new music and instrumental research.

Cluster comes back on February 12th 2017 as a part of <A HREF="https://2017.transmediale.de/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Transmediale</A> and <A HREF="http://www.ctm-festival.de/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CTM</A> <A HREF="https://vorspiel.berlin/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Vorspiel Programme</A>. The new concert of the series will explore this time the low-frequency sound and the vibrating strings of the bassists <A HREF="http://solo.andreasdzialocha.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Andreas Dzialocha</A> and <A HREF="https://soundcloud.com/hortus-mortuus" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Adam Goodwin</A> who will alternate on stage with real-time e-bass computer processing and double bass.
“Cluster” is a music series devoted to sound investigation with a particular focus on contemporary languages, new music and extended techniques. "Cluster" supports the collaborative work and aims to offer an exchange platform for musicians, composers and electronic music performers in Berlin-Treptow.

ADAM GOODWIN Adam Goodwin is a Texan contrabassist, composer, and visual artist. He engages in a wide spectrum of artistic activity that involves frequent collaboration with performers, composers, sound artists, choreographers, dancers and visual artists. Goodwin's musical approach places a heavy emphasis on physical gesture and spontaneity, along with a conscious consideration of the particular space and context in which the music is taking place. As composer and interpreter, he strives to obliterate the false pretenses that tend to surround contemporary art world, and return to a primordial mode of expression which places the highest priority on the individuality of the performer and the spontaneity of each unique moment. ANDREAS DZIALOCHA Andreas Dzialocha (DE) is an electric bass player, programmer and composer, founder of the Serenus Zeitblom Oktett. Studies of art history, musicology, media theory and computer science. Writes environments with and without computers for instrumentalists, theater and sound installations. Performs in various ensembles between free improvised music, chamber music and pop. Publisher of the BLATT 3000 paper platform for contemporary music and founder of the label Hyperdelia. Young artist award 2012, nominated by the Moers Festival. His Slip debut "Solo [SLP016] is a collection of lilting electric bass melodies refracted through a tangled network of live computer processing.
