Being Visual | Basics Workshop @Josephs - Die Service Manufaktur

The BEING VISUAL BASICS is a 8 hour introductory workshop on basics of drawing and visual thinking. You will learn about composition, structures of drawing and apply it drawing people, objects, storyboard and icons. Few theory and lots of supervised practice.

What you will learn?

PART 1 – VISUAL BASICS

The first module is focused on understanding the fundamentals of illustration. You will be instructed with easy frameworks that will enable you to scribble anything around you.

PART 2 - ICONS

After learning how to scribble, now it is time to translate ideas and concepts into simple visuals.

Create a vocabulary and tricks to express anything. This module is focused on creating strategies to communicate in teams and facilitate dialogue.

PART 3 - VISUAL STORIES

The final module is a deep dive on storytelling. How to create storyboards that can be used to convey more complex ideas. You will learn the principle of storyboard to pitch a project, service, product or idea and how to make it more powerful.

The whole workshop material is included. So you have all you need to start and keep practicing when you go back to the real World. The included material is:

• 1 Stabilo .68 (black).

PRESENTATION & REFERENCES

Everything presented and produced in the workshop will be available for the participants after the workshop. Besides you will receive a list with books about drawing and visualisation and links for icon resources and further classes to get even more pro.
