Beginner Upcycling Workshop

Take a deep dive into upcycling during this 3 hour class, designed to change the way you see the clothes you own, but for whatever reason don't wear. It is specially directed for those who don't have any or little sewing experience! 

The Workshop is divided in three parts: 

1. How to use the sewing machine and tools. There are 2 overlock and 4 regular sewing machines available + all the needed dressmaking tools. 

2. Design your special piece from the materials you bring from home, with expert and personalised guidance. 

3. Sew your design and take it home 

Learn how to transform your clothes into something new that represents your unique style, and how to apply those skills to other projects. 

Discover endless possibilities for the clothes you own, find on the street, or get second hand. The more options you bring the better so we can figure out where to start:

• Shirts, tops 
• Dresses, jumpsuits
• Sweaters, light jackets
• Pants, skirts, shorts
• Fabric scraps, trimmings like zippers, metals, tape, chord, elastic, etc.
