Analog Breakfast - Coffee, Shoot and Develop

Start your morning with Analog Breakfast, a hands-on workshop where creativity meets the timeless charm of black-and-white medium-format photography. Led by Mengfan Yang — known for her thoughtful approach and deep expertise especially in medium-format world — you’ll enjoy coffee or tea while learning to shoot, develop, and scan your own images.

Event Highlights:

1. Shoot 6 Pictures with a Medium-Format Camera

Each participant will use a medium-format camera to capture six carefully composed black-and-white images in our professional studio or outdoor. Cameras are available on-site if needed.

Please note: participants using our cameras must stay with the group during the photo walk. For equipment safety and smooth coordination, we kindly ask you not to leave the group without informing the instructor. Any loss or damage of borrowed equipment will require full compensation based on current market value.

2. Develop Your Film

Discover the magic of analog photography as you develop your film in our darkroom with expert guidance.

3. Scan and Convert Your Photo

Produce scan of your shots and convert them in Photoshop/Lightroom.

4. Coffee & Connection

Savor coffee or tea while sharing photography tips, techniques, and stories with like-minded participants.

Want them to be printed in darkroom with silver paper? You can purchase additional prints:

• 13x18 cm: €10 per print

• 18x24 cm: €20 per print

• 24x30 cm: €30 per print

• 30x40 cm: €50 per print

• 50x60 cm: €100 per print

• Contact Sheet: €30 per print

Addtional print requires 7 working days to process, and you can pick up in our studio.

• Where: Berlin Photo Studio, Nazarethkirchstraße 41, 13347 Berlin

• What to Bring: Your love for analog photography! Cameras are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own medium-format camera if you have one.

Important Notes:

• Punctuality matters: The workshop will start on time and won’t be delayed for late arrivals.If you’re late, you’re still welcome to join the remaining part of the session – however, we do not offer rescheduling or make-up time.We appreciate your understanding and ask that you respect the time of the instructor and fellow participants.
• This workshop does not include film scanning services. If you would like us to scan and convert your film afterwards, you can either select the relevant add-ons at checkout, or pay for the services separately at the studio.
