Die Würzburger Black Velvet Band hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren in die Herzen der Live–Musik-Fans gespielt. Oft als "fleißigste Band Unterfrankens" bezeichnet, spielten die Jungs bisher rund 2000 Konzerte in Deutschland, der Schweiz, Luxemburg und Frankreich.Sie bringen eine Kofferraumladung voller traditioneller Instrumente und drei gute eingesungene Stimmen aus dem Fahrgastraum mit. Dann geht es los:Mitreißende Rhythmen, atemberaubend schnelle Instrumentals wechseln mit melancholischen Balladen und versetzen bisher noch alle Säle in Begeisterung. "We will folk you" heisst das Motto, Mitmachen ist angesagt. Ihr Irish Folk ist nie frontal von der Bühne runter sondern sucht immer die Stelle, an der der Funke überspringt.
