Here Be Unicorns - Sustainable Berlin Futures Workshop

The CityLAB is an experimental laboratory for the city of the future. Here, representatives from government, civil society, academia and start-ups collaboratively develop new ideas for how to both ensure and enhance the livability of Berlin as a city. The CityLAB combines elements of a digital workshop, a co-working space and event space into a single location where participation and innovation are jointly pursued. We see digitalization as an opportunity to re-think existing processes, dismantle social...STATE is a collective endeavor that is driven by the passionate work of a network of dedicated individuals from a variety of different backgrounds, including science, culture, business and communication.

Let’s work together to envision a livable, sustainable future for Berlin. 
We need visionaries with bold new ideas to identify and build new roads toward this future. Empowered by their imaginative thinking, we can learn how to harness the power of emerging technologies in their societal context to create positive impacts. 
So how do we get there? 
Here Be Unicorns is a serious game and mental sparring exercise that helps you train your imagination and identify meaningful opportunities for sustainable action in the context of future trends in science, technology, culture, and society. You’ll have the chance to experience the game for yourself at a workshop led by its developer, Dr. Christian Rauch (physicist and founder of Berlin-based, transdisciplinary art initiative STATE). The game is based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and uses the RIDE thinking model. 
The workshop will be held in English and German.
