Draw Me Close is a multidisciplinary performance combining drawing with dance.

Draw Me Close is a multidisciplinary performance combining drawing with dance.It begins as a solo by Matagumpay and then includes the audience as collaborators and performers. First, Matagumpay draws across the paper in weak lines until someone intercepts, initiating the first dance. Charcoal and ink marks are evidence of our shared movement. Many configurations are possible: The audience moves Matagumpay, he move the audience, he step away, the audience move each other- just as long as one person holds the drawing instrument, and someone else moves them. Autonomy, consent, depression, will and desire are all at play, and every dance begins with an inquisitive intention: How can he hold you responsibly?The performances will be held outdoors at 13h and once more at 16h. The Tiny House is open from 12-18h as an oasis space and quiet drawing area.
