Presentation Skills Training Amsterdam – convince in the first two minutes

One-day presentation skills training in Amsterdam: core message, storyline, slide design and delivery, on your own slides. Max. 10 seats.

One day to rebuild your next presentation so that decision-makers know what you want after two minutes and say yes at the end. You work on your own slides, in a group of ten at most.

What you can do afterwards:

– Lead with the message: You state the core message of any presentation in one sentence and put it first.

– Pick a structure that holds: You choose the right storyline for the audience: pyramid, recommendation tree, five-sentence story or hero's journey.

– Design slides people read: You cut every slide to one message and build charts that make the point on their own.

– Present with calm: You open with confidence, keep attention and answer tough questions without losing the thread.

Agenda (09:30 to 17:00):

– Winning attention – Why the first 120 seconds decide, and three openings that work.

– The core message – From topic to message: one sentence the room takes home.

– Storylines – Pyramid principle, recommendation tree, five-sentence story, hero's journey, each applied to your example.

– Slide design – One message per slide, data as a statement, white space instead of text walls. Rebuilding your own slides.

– Practice – Voluntary three-minute presentations with structured feedback from the group.

– Transfer – Your plan for the next presentation: the three things you change first.

Bring: Please bring your own laptop with PowerPoint installed and a presentation of yours (a draft is fine).

Venue: Regus Express Amsterdam Central, Stationsplein 19-W, 1012 AB Amsterdam (inside Amsterdam Centraal station). You receive the exact room with your booking confirmation.

Getting there: The seminar takes place inside Amsterdam Centraal. From Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and Eindhoven you arrive by intercity in the morning; from Schiphol in 15 minutes. Antwerp and Brussels are a direct train away.
