About this event

(Please note there will be no session on July 2, 2024)

This Continuing Education workshop invites participants to learn and implement new vocabulary, map and expand their understanding of trans and gender nonconforming identities, engage Active-Ally focused practices, and develop skills that can be used and referenced in therapeutic work.

We will hold ten weekly, two and a half hour sessions (with breaks) for a total of 20 continuing educational credits. Each session will build from the previous so attending all ten is expected. You will receive support during each week and opportunities to practice the skills you’ll be learning.

At Transformative Solidarity, we work with groups and individuals to transform patterns of white supremacy and gender oppression. These dominant forces are everywhere in our modern world, and none of us can truly escape enacting them in some ways. Facilitators of this model recognize everyone’s humanity, and understand that oppressive patterns are learned and can therefore be unlearned. Through consulting, coaching, group workshops, and conflict mediation we support all participants to transform their own patterns and build more powerful organizations.

We know that our movements have a lot of work to do to create the world we need.

Let us support you in getting there.
