《爱生活如爱啤酒》通过作者长期从事中德文化交流的视角，讲述了中国作家（如余华、麦家、刘慈欣、北岛、王安忆等）在德国的文化经历与互动，并借此探讨中国当代文学在德国的呈现与意义，中西文化如何彼此吸纳、启发、碰撞。书中呈现的德国，不拘泥于严谨或高冷，而充满音乐、文学与影像交织的文艺“甘甜”与温度。王竞1968年生于北京，毕业于北大中文系。自1991年赴德国发展，曾在多所德国高校任教，并担任过法兰克福书展德国图书信息中心主任及阿歇特出版社在华业务负责人。她深耕中德文化双向交流，策划文学与电影项目，撰写具有温度的文化报道，作品获得余华、刘慈欣、麦家等知名作家的高度评价。六角橘传媒学博士，从事于公共关系与媒体交流领域，公众号“非严肃de说”博主。
