Colour Their World- Erica London, Author, Speaker

Erica London, is a 3-time published Canadian-Trinidadian children's author. A member of the Writers Union of Canada, CANSCAIP, vendor for various school boards, presenter for Toronto Public Library and founder of *Colour Their World*.

The *Colour Their World* YouTube channel is home to weekly read-alouds, presented through music and animated storytelling. The selection of stories on the YouTube channel cater to a range of ethnicities and heritages. We have over 140 books on the channel that are also used by educators.

As part of *Colour Their World* she not only takes part and hosts community events, but visits elementary schools, whether it being in-person or virtual to present her literature through read-aloud and activities to Grades 1-4 which encourage emotional and mental health.

She believes that literacy is not only important, as you know, but showing students a positive representation of this career is most essential. That reading is fun, it’s therapeutic, and has so much to offer.
