About TransforM

TransforM - The Munich Center for Transformative Technologies and Societal Change is an interdisciplinary social science Cluster of Excellence, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) as part of the Excellence Strategy. TransforM faces the dual challenge of advancing basic social science research and rethinking technology development through social science perspectives. Our goal is to further develop existing theories and methods and build new infrastructures to better understand transformative technologies and shape them in a socially responsible way.
