THE EMBODIED LIGHT RITUAL
Overview
On the darkest day of the year, when the night reaches its deepest quiet and the world pauses between cycles, a new Sun begins its rise. We gather to honor this turning point of light and renewal — through practices that invite you to slow down, soften, and come back into the body.
What awaits us:
• Gentle embodied practice — slow, intuitive movement and sensing to arrive in the body and feel grounded.
• Weaving a Winter Solstice Wreath — a grounding, hands-on ritual connecting you to the rhythm of nature.
• Gratitude for the past year — releasing, acknowledging growth, and creating inner spaciousness.
• Voice & rhythm practice — gentle vocal sounding supported by simple rhythm with frame drum and rattles
• Lighting the candle of Returning Light — a quiet moment of warmth, presence, and bless the beginning of a new cycle.
It will be a warm gathering filled with intention — a chance to reconnect with the ancient truth that even in the deepest night, the light is already returning.
Join us to welcome the turning of the year — to welcome your renewal, your new light, your new beginning.
