Slowing Down Movement Practice

Autumn, the perfect season to slow down, breathe and reflect,
Let's do it together via online movement sessions.

You will be guided to move in certain ways to help you slow down. Among others, fascia release techniques, stretching exercises, and breathwork... will be incorporated in these sessions.

The online link is provided 24 hours before, only to registered attendees. We will use Google Meet.

HOW CAN THIS PRACTICE HELP YOU?

- approaching with care and softness any body part that may have faced a difficult situation

About your host
Ahia Kamanan (she/they) is a French and Ivorian creative, based in Berlin.

She works as a conceptual artist, writer, cultural entrepreneur and independent researcher. Among others, they work as a professional dancer, performer and flourishing choreographer. Ahia uses dancing and moving as a support system to deal with recurring pain generated by chronic disease. They have been training in fascia release techniques since 2022. They also practise and teach various types of meditations and medicines based on African Knowledge Systems.
More generally, she investigates the African heritage on the continent and in the diaspora through her activities. They have a particular interest in the notion of ancestor, embodied archives and co-living with other-than-humans.
