Overview

Next session on Dec. 7th: We explore self-regulation through Polyvagal Theory.

In a world that feels increasingly unpredictable, how do we stay grounded, and discover more moments of presence and joy? This six-session course offers practical tools and shared experiences to help you cultivate clarity, courage and your own rituals of celebration.

You'll come away with skills and experience to help with:

  • Deep Rest & Recovery – Guided relaxation practices like Yoga Nidra to restore balance and sleep better.
  • Navigating Conflict – Understand your responses to struggle and practice value-driven action.
  • Self-Regulation & Polyvagal Theory – Learn how the nervous system shapes resilience and emotional balance.
  • Facing Uncertainty with Hope – Expand your capacity to stay grounded in complex and unpredictable times.
  • Designing Rituals for Flourishing – Create personal and communal practices that bring stability, meaning, and celebration into daily life.

Guided by Peter Wolff, the sessions weave together short reflections, embodied practice, dialogue, and gentle ritual. Together we’ll explore how to:

  • Reclaim clarity amidst complexity
  • Strengthen courage in the face of uncertainty
  • Restore celebration and connection in daily life

Module 1

We will be engaging in a creative process in which soul meets mind meets heart. The first session is a welcoming to become better acquainted with each other and the flow of the course.

I introduce how each of the next four sessions help to build inner strength and resilience. The modules that follow touch on the following:

Rest, Conflict, Self-Regulation, Inner Stability

By the end of the session you will aligned with your capacity to grow across these four dimensions.

Module 2

Do your thoughts wake you up in the night? Are you in the habit of ruminating about what should be? No matter how you assess your current state of wellness, or how you feel about your emotional and physical well-being, we begin the journey with improving our fundamental healing resource, rest and recovery.

By focusing on how often we rest and how well we sleep, everyone gets a chance to nurture themselves by experiencing the effects of deep relaxation and sleep.

In this module you add Yoga Nidra meditation to your toolbox of personal wellness interventions. I've been a certified iRest (yoga nidra) instructor since 2010.

Module 3

Managing inner struggle and outer conflict, these are important parts of our growith and development. This module helps us witness our own reactions, and practice consistent action in alignment with our values.

Humans are on a long road of co-existence. We are taught to set goals, take action, and manifest our dreams. With all the diversity in the world, and now with the ability to see and hear world events every moment on our smartphones, the dreams we have are often at odds with opposing ideas, projects and movements.

By the end of the session you will have new resources for managing conflict.

Module 4

On a physical level, the principle of all life is homeostasis. Polyvagal theory teaches us about the social and emotional layers of this self-regulating impulse. With this knowledge, we may begin to understand better our personal experiences of dysregulation. When we are dysregulated, our perception is significantly impaired and may often feel isolated, perhaps even pushing away the people who want to help us the most. To establish a deep capacity for self-regulation, I begin with a brief overview of the human central nervous system (CNS), followed by teaching the practical applications of polyvagal theory. My advanced studies in integrative wellness taught me how fundamental the functioning of our CNS is to long-term health.

This module gives you the power to see and choose your emotional state.

Module 5

In this module I introduce the practice of Global Social Witnessing.

These practices will help you expand your capacity to hold uncertainty, complexity, and difficult emotions. By developing an awareness of your edges of personal growth, we begin to approach what is challenging with curiosity and openness.

Building on the previous sessions, this module integrates the learning of prior modules, helping us to stay present and grounded when encountering the unknown or challenging realities.

Module 6

In the final session is a creative space for exploring how you thrive, even during uncertain times. What would the impact be on you?

I will provide a template for thinking and dreaming what could be added to each of our communities. Would it be worthwhile to host a group people into the boundaries of your vision? What would be a small step, an act of ritual and celebration, and an antidote for a seemingly unstable and fast-changing world?
