Regions in Energy Transition: The JETforCE Conference

Discover how European regions are shaping a fair and sustainable energy future at the first day of the JETforCE final conference, part of the Green and Blue Energy Transition Days. This event brings together policymakers, local authorities, energy experts, and project partners to explore Just Energy Transition in practice and see the impact of JETforCE pilot sites across Central Europe.

The day will feature:

• Welcome speeches and a project overview highlighting achievements and outcomes of the Interreg Central Europe JETforCE project
• Two interactive panel discussions aligned with the Just Transition Mechanism, bringing together regional representatives and energy experts
• Networking opportunities during coffee breaks and lunch
• An afternoon study visit to the JETforCE pilot site and other local initiatives
• A guided tour of Labin’s historic Old Town and a joint dinner, offering a chance to connect with partners and stakeholders

Participants will also get hands-on insight into JETforCE digital tools, including the Challenge Mapping Tool and Technology Evaluation Tool, which empower citizens and local authorities to participate in energy decision-making.

Please note that the event will be presented mostly in Croatian with English translation provided.
