short answer: if you are LGBTQIA+/questioning, then yes! longer answer: we have quite a long waiting list at the moment, and will prioritise BIPoC models as well as trans*, inter, fat, disabled and older models. if you'd like to be added to the list, please message me at qldberlin@gmail.com <3

QLDB is volunteer-run, so contributions go to the model and, once/if we reach 45€, are split between them and the venue.  Tax is charged on top tho; this goes to the Finanzamt :P

What is your covid policy?

Please come tested (home tests fine). If you test positive, we'll swap your ticket for a later date as a thank you for not putting people at risk. You can also use a test from us for an optional donation--in this case, please show up on time!

What should I bring?

Art materials for yourself if you can. If you are able to, I encourage you to bring extra materials to share, e.g. paper, paints, crayons, coloured pencils, etc. This way, we can all experiment with different mediums that we might not otherwise have access to! I will also provide some materials.

What should I be mindful of in this space?

Respect and appreciate one another and the model. Do not take photos of anyone (incl. model) unless you have their explicit permission. Do not assume anyone's pronouns; if someone tells you their pronouns, use them correctly! No racism, anti-semitism, transphobia, homophobia, swerfs, cops etc

No! This is an untutored session, and there is no pressure to give/receive feedback or to show your work :) at the end I encourage everyone to put their favourite (not best!) piece down for the model to see, but this is not mandatory and is just to celebrate what we all did <3

hi! we are Anna (she/they) and Mai (all pronouns) and we run the group. We do a lot of life drawing and life modelling, but we noticed that a queer safer space was lacking here. since there wasn't already a group, Mai decided to just start one herself. Anna joined a little later - and here we are :)
