Please note: the Masterclass consists of two parts:

First Part will take place on the 3rd of February 2026 from 5pm to 7pm CEST.

Second Part will take place on the 5th February 2026 from 5pm to 7:30pm CEST (last 30min reserved for Q&A).

Due to the success and the high demand, the Masterclass returns in January 2026. Learn how to incorporate sustainable UX practices in your daily work to create sustainable digital products based on the SUX Framework in our proven Masterclass format.

The 4,5-hour class teaches you the fundamentals and tools of Sustainable UX and enables you to start using SUX in your daily work right after the Masterclass.

The SUX Framework was developed by me over the past years based on my personal long year work in digital sustainability and Sustainable UX, my workshops, my talks and keynotes and my work on the W3C Web Sustainability Guidelines.

Upon completion you’ll get a personal Sustainable UX certificate.

Day 1 (26 January, 5pm-7pm):

Optional Bonus: 30min extra for Q&A and open conversation after the Masterclass

  • As a bonus, we offer an extra optional 30 minutes after the Masterclass where you can ask question or discuss about your current challenges. It is not mandatory to stay for this to get your certificate.

About your Lecturer:

Your lecturer is Thorsten Jonas, digital sustainability Trailblazer, Sustainable UX Designer, Keynote Speaker, Podcast Host and Founder of the SUX Network.

He is one of the drivers of making sustainability default in all design processes. With his long year experience, he is guiding and training designers, design-teams and companies in crafting sustainable, responsible and ethical digital products while he is also speaking at conferences and events worldwide like Adobe MAX, Interaction Conference or World Usability Congress.

Furthermore Thorsten is serving as co-lead of the UX committee for the W3C Sustainable Web Design Guidelines as an invited expert in the W3C Web Sustainability Interest Group.

His passion for the outdoors and mountaineering drives his commitment to make sustainability a fundamental aspect of digital design and to advocate for responsible and ethical usage of tech for the good of every being on this planet.


About the SUX Network and the SUX Academy:

The SUX Network was founded in 2021 by a group of designers with the mission to transform UX to Sustainable UX and to make Sustainability default in the digital design process.

As part of SUX the SUX Academy was founded in 2024 to teach the fundamentals, tools and details of Sustainable UX, Digital Sustainability or the W3C Web Sustainability Guidelines and how to incorporate them into your daily work.
