About this event

Are you ready to disrupt how we approach networking in games?

Join us for an exclusive breakfast event in Berlin sponsored by Klang Games, with our first theme “Mastering The Art of Networking”, for Women in Games in priority (men are welcome to join, with limited spots).

Throughout the series of future events, we'll equip you with powerful tools to break through the career ceiling—covering aspects like self-management, the art of networking, personal branding, public speaking skills, pitching, and financial management. Expect exceptional future hosts and speakers to guide you.

What you will take away from this exclusive event:

  • At least one practical tool that you can immediately apply in your career.
  • At least one valuable new business connection.
  • At least one new friendship.
  • You willl also learn game development practices from our partner Klang Games and how they approach the future of gaming, serving diverse audiences with their exciting new MMO "Seed".

Why focus on women first?

Through our numerous experiences coaching women in games, we've identified certain obstacles hindering your career growth:

  • Network: Limited access to networks, including investors, hiring managers, senior leaders, C-level executives, and industry professionals.
  • Opportunities: Limited access to opportunities, be it for promotions or exciting new job prospects that are not openly internally or externally advertised.
  • Mental barriers: Mental limitations such as feelings of inadequacy, imposter syndrome, and doubts about personal value. With the lack of relatable role models in the industry, it is a challenge to overcome those barriers just by yourself.

We aim to change the game regarding the number of women we see in leadership positions and on the money side: 8% of gaming CEOs are women, 10% of leadership positions in games are held by women, less than 2% of VC money went to female-founded startups in 2021(Sources: McKinsey report Sept22, ISFE report 2021).

By fostering more diverse perspectives at the top, starting with gender diversity, we believe we can shape the future of sustainable workplaces and the gaming industry.

The event is limited to 40 participants, so be sure to secure your ticket!
