CODECO Standardization Workshop

Purpose: The CODECO Standardisation Dissemination Workshop brings together leading European research projects working on IoT-Edge-Cloud continuum computing, cognitive orchestration, and cloud-native edge architectures. The aim is to collectively present results, compare approaches, and identify how research innovations can be transferred into standards.

The event fosters a shared understanding of:

• Methodologies being used by the different projects to transfer research results to standardisation, and challenges/lessons learned.

• How different projects converge on common reference models, APIs, and interoperability layers.

• Opportunities for coordinated contributions and long-term standardisation roadmaps.

Audience: researchers (other HE projects focusing on CEI standardisation), edge-cloud stakeholders, SDOs (in particular: IETF GREEN, IETF BMWG; IETF CATS; ETSI OpenOps; ETSI MEC; ISO)
