2-Day Marionette Carving Workshop
Overview
Join us for a hands-on 2-day marionette carving workshop at PuppentheaterMuseum Berlin, led by artist Cagri Yilmaz. This workshop is designed for anyone interested in traditional puppet-making and wood carving. No previous experience is required.
Over the course of 12 hours spread across two days, participants will carve their own 25 cm marionette from linden wood, assemble all parts, and learn how to attach and adjust the strings. All materials and tools are provided.
Participants can choose between two character designs:
- a cat, or
- a steampunk-inspired character
Attendance on both workshop days is required to complete the marionette.
