Decorated Letters Galore!

Cheryl Tefft established her calligraphy studio, Calligraphics, in 1993, and since then she has been creating custom hand-lettering for corporations and celebrities, proud parents and grateful grandchildren, and bridal clients from New York to Australia. She has lettered on basketballs and conductor’s batons, diplomas and piggy banks, and has even had her work featured billboard-sized above the stage at Powell Symphony Hall.Cheryl's work has appeared in various magazines, includingMartha Stewart Weddings,BridesandThe Knot. In 2013, her first-ever calligraphy contest entry was awarded “Best in Show” in the national Graceful Envelope Contest. Her clients have included Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, Southwestern Bell, Anheuser-Busch, The May Department Stores, and the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.Cheryl’s specialties include lettering for weddings, and one-of-a-kind illuminated documents such as proclamations. She uses her extensive training in centuries-old techniques of lettering and illumination while giving them a modern flair. She began teaching calligraphy in 2009 and now offers classes from beginner to advanced. She adores all cats, and reads etiquette books for fun.
