CVAS - Canberra Vietnamese Association
The Canberra Vietnamese Association (a.k.a. CVAS) is an independent, apolitical, and non-profit organisation established to advance the culture and well-being of the Vietnamese community in the Capital Region
Our mission is to share and promote Vietnamese culture within the Canberra community while creating a platform for individuals and businesses to connect and give back. We aim to facilitate the sharing of expertise, cultural experiences, and knowledge, all while consolidating and streamlining activities to make the process of giving back more enjoyable and engaging for everyone involved.
Our vision is to nurture and preserve Vietnamese culture for future generations, creating a vibrant community where young people can connect with their heritage. We aspire to inspire pride in our rich traditions, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural identity that empowers the next generation to carry our legacy forward.
CVAS values respect for Vietnamese culture and the well-being of our members. We are dedicated to fostering support and assistance within our community, promoting inclusivity, and encouraging young people to engage actively. We believe in the importance of connection, creating opportunities for individuals to share their experiences and build lasting relationships, all while celebrating our rich heritage together
