A Far North Naturalist

Hi! I’m Graham, your guide at ‘A Far North Naturalist’. I have 35 years of experience of working in nature conservation with the RSPB, Wildlife Trusts and others, including 15 years here in north Sutherland.

Join me to explore the fabulous unspoiled coast with its spectacular seabird colonies. Walk the spectacular beaches and dunes in search of rare and unusual wildflowers, where numerous typical mountain species grow at sea level! Or dare to bounce across some of the vast expanse of blanket bog in the famous Flow Country, in search of rare and unusual wildflowers or its suite of breeding waders.

I have a fixed programme of walks, which are always being added to as demand requires, but in addition I can be hired by the half- or full day to lead a walk specially customised for you / your group.
